So please, even though you’re keen to dive into the training and your new WordPress site, please read this page as it contains three distinct pieces of information that are very useful.

No. 1: Our Recommendations
There are some basic steps for you to take to finish your registration, create your new WordPress blog and get started with the training and resources here at our site.
3 First Steps
There are three first Getting Started steps you may have already completed. One step leads to the next in this sequence:
- PAY–You pay for your Social Biz Startup Kit at PayPal. You are then directed to the next page to register.
- REGISTER–You register as a member and create your login for this site. Your are then directed to a page and a form to fill out.
- WEB SITE SET UP–You choose your domain name for your new WordPress site and complete the Web Site Setup Form. (This third first step can be done later, after you’ve taken some time to choose your domain name.)
Choosing Your Domain Name
We think you should take your time and choose a domain name pretty carefully. It won’t prevent you from participating in the program and getting started in the Boot Camp if you take a bit of time to make your domain name choice. Equally important is to avoid “analysis paralysis”. It’s not uncommon to start with one domain name and later add another you like better.

You are likely to end up with one of three choices:
- Your own name as domain name: very common choice for coaches or other “solo practitioners”.
- A name that is the name of your business or that describes what you do.
- A made up name, a word or phrase that is easy to remember (and easy to spell): a very common choice for software companies e.g. Adobe.
Read the article, play around with your domain name choices for a bit, and when you decide, go back to this page to complete the form: Web Site Setup.
No. 2: Access and Participation
Boot Camp Sessions
Participation in an 8-session Boot Camp is part of your Startup Kit package. To get the information you need about the schedule for upcoming Boot Camp sessions and directions for linking to the sessions and participating by web and/or by telephone, go to the top menu tab “Boot Camp” and click on the drop down menu item, “Session Schedule”. Or, link here to go directly to the schedule now. Please add these sessions to your calendar. The purpose of each Boot Camp session is to answer any questions you have about the material you have worked through prior to the session, and to help you implement the action steps in your business. Each Boot Camp session will include a short presentation by Kate Williams and/or Daryl Lozupone and time for Q & A and some coaching for individuals. It’s important that you take advantage of the Boot Camp session training and resource material prior to each session. That way the questions and coaching will help you implement each step in the development of your online presence, marketing hub and online/social media marketing process.

Other Training and Tutorials
There are many video training tutorials and resource documents available from the “Tutorials” section of the menu in the right hand side bar. Most are short and presented in order. Each one is linked back to the member Forums where you can ask questions and get answers (and provide answers for your fellow participants).
The Forums
Visit the Forums for discussions and Q & A. Participate in the forums to post questions and get answers to your specific questions. You’ll also see what others have asked and answers they get. Get connected with other participants through the forums and discover the amazing power of working together, sharing information and swapping resources.
Access the Forums from the right hand side bar menu.
No. 3: If You Have Any Trouble
You will also get an email confirming your sale and a receipt. If you have any issues or don’t get the email (which is very unlikely), please feel free to email us at assist@socialbizstartupkit.com or Kate personally at kate@achievenorthwest.com (the email address that sends to her mobile).
