Isn’t this just another replicated site?
Well, yes and no.
The initial framework and structure of your blog will be the same as others that use the Social Biz Starter Kit. However, you are purchasing a full-fledged, unrestricted WordPress blog. That means you can customize it as much as you like and truly make it your own.
I already have a domain name. Can I use the Social Biz Starter Kit?
Of course you can! While we do include a free domain name registration with your purchase of the Social Biz Starter Kit, if you already have purchased a domain name you can use that with your new blog. You can use your free domain registration to either register a new domain name for use elsewhere or you can transfer your existing domain name to Renegade Tech Consulting.
In order to use your existing domain name with the Social Biz Starter Kit, you will need to go back to your registrar and update your nameserver settings. This is done differently for every registrar, but it is almost always in the domain management section of your account website. You received the nameserver settings for your account in your Welcome email.

What if I cannot choose a domain name?
If you are having difficulty selecting a domain name to get started, we recommend using your name. This allows you to get started, and you can purchase a more specific domain name (at the current registration price at the time of order) when you have made a choice. Your blog can be transferred to the new domain (for a fee if we do it for you), and you will still have your “name” domain available. (PLEASE NOTE: all domain name registrations are non-refundable).
How soon is my order processed and I gain access to my blog?
We screen all domain registration orders for fraud, so if you are taking advantage of the free domain name it could take as long as 24 hours to process your order. The wait is rarely that long, however, as we typically screen orders as they come in.
Domain name propagation can take as long as 48 hours, though it very rarely does. This means that although your order has been processed and your domain name registered, you may not be able to access your blog becuase the domain name has not propagated. Usually, the propagation process takes under an hour for new registrations, and up to 12 hours for nameserver changes (i.e. you are using a domain name purchased elsewhere).
What if I don’t like the themes?
That is okay, that is what our product is all about. Your freedom to create whatever you want from a truly solid foundation.
That being said, your purchase price does include access to a premium theme that we think is a great choice. If you prefer to use another theme, our favorites come from the folks at StudioPress and DIYThemes. You can also search the internet for other free themes out there.
What plugins/widgets are installed?

What if I don’t like the plugins/widgets?
Just like the themes, no problem. We have given you the extra functionality that we think is essential for bloggers, but we know you might disagree. You can uninstall any plugin we have already set up for you and add whatever ones you wish to use on your blog.
